Pur şi simplu... Google

Google nu i-a dat voie... :goofy:

Google Online Security Blog: A secure web is here to stay:
For the past several years, we’ve moved toward a more secure web by strongly advocating that sites adopt HTTPS encryption. And within the last year, we’ve also helped users understand that HTTP sites are not secure by gradually marking a larger subset of HTTP pages as “not secure”. Beginning in July 2018 with the release of Chrome 68, Chrome will mark all HTTP sites as “not secure”.

Google search is adding a news feed to its homepage on mobile - The Verge:
Google is announcing changes to its search product today, tied in part to the 20th anniversary of the company. The biggest announcement is that Google is rebranding its news feed — that list of items that appears below the default search bar in the Google mobile app and when you swipe left from the home screen on Android — as “Discover.” It will now be on the Google homepage on all mobile browsers, which is a huge shift for the company as it works to better organize information and help users understand context. The news was unveiled at a press event in San Francisco this morning.

Incorrect transforms when stripping subdomains

1. Enter any URL starting with "www.", for example, www.google.com

What is the expected behavior?
The URL Bar should show "www.google.com"

What went wrong?
The URL Bar shows "google.com"
[...]
"subdomain.www.domain.com" displays as "subdomain.domain.com".
[...]
1. Attempt to visit: https://concourse.m.example.com

What is the expected behavior?
Host is shown as "concourse.m.example.com"

What went wrong?
Host is shown as "concourse.example.com"

Why I'm leaving Chrome
From now on, every time you log into a Google property (for example, Gmail), Chrome will automatically sign the browser into your Google account for you. It’ll do this without asking, or even explicitly notifying you. (However, and this is important: Google developers claim this will not actually start synchronizing your data to Google — yet. See further below.)
[...]
Nobody on the Chrome development team can provide a clear rationale for why this change was necessary, and the explanations they’ve given don’t make any sense.

Clear all cookies in Chrome doesn't remove Google cookies.
Also "Clear browsing data" -> "Cookies and other site data" doesn't empty local storage. That comes unexpected since localStorage is broadly used in web/ad tracking.
