In caz ca mai aveati dubii: Corsair VX450 disecata pe Hardware Secrets.
The results for this power supply were simply unbelievable, especially when we think that this is supposedly an entry-level power supply. After reviewing a lot of lousy low-end power supplies it is a real joy to see an entry-level model that can not only deliver its rated power at 48º C, but also achieve an outstanding efficiency and a very low ripple and noise levels.
Un test de overload (adica un fel de overclock la surse :biggrin:)
we could make our 450 W power supply to work stable at 570 W at 48º C and with 81% efficiency! Holy cow!
Bottom line

If we could summarize this power supply in just one word it would be “wow!”. Together with Antec EarthWatts 500 W this is the best power supply up to 500 W we have ever seen, bringing the best cost/benefit ratio for the average user building a mainstream PC with a good video card, graduating Summa Cum Laude in our tests. You will bring home a relatively inexpensive power supply that even though is sold as being a 450 W unit can deliver up to 570 W at 48º C – in fact Corsair could have easily labeled this power supply as a 500 W unit, but they preferred to stay on the safe side.

Acu' sper ca ma intelegeti de ce (pentru un sistem normal single CPU/single GPU) recomand numa' VX450 si EarthWatts, in functie de buget. :biggrin:

Ce spun ei acolo e ca-ti poti macelari conectorul PCI-E 6+2 ca sa intre intr-o mufa din seria 98xx si nu-ti pierzi garantia la sursa. :thumbs:
Si asta din cauza ca desteptii astia de la nVidia n-au stiu sa faca o gaura ca lumea in mufa aia de pe placa video. :hmm:
Dar acu' au inghitit galusca si in tacere mormintala au inceput sa schimbe mufele de pe placile video. Go go nVidia! :biggrin:

PS. Pentru cei ce nu vad pozele la jonny pun una comparativa mai jos. In stinga vechiul 9800GTX iar in dreapta noul 9800GTX.

Antec Signature 850W. Cu sigruranta o sursa silentioasa decat daca va fi folosita pana-n 400W, de preferat chiar mult mai jos. In acest caz nu pot spune ca este recomandabila sistemelor extrem de energofage dar si ultra-silentioase. In plus, in afara aspectului si denumirii ce ar trebui sa o transforme in ceva deosebit, "Signature", nu are nimic special, cel putin din punctul meu de vedere.

Da, ala e monstrul, unul din sistemele pentru CERF. Asta e celalalt, dar la ATI nu a trebui sa rup nimic. :biggrin:

Enermax Pro82+ 525W review.
Wow! What a power supply! We could not only deliver its labeled 525 W power at 50º C but also maintained efficiency between 85% and 90% all the time! In fact this is the power supply with the highest efficiency we reviewed so far. Not only that. We could pull almost 600 W from this unit still with 85% efficiency. That is impressive.
The fan used on this power supply is extremely quiet even when it was running at its full speed. In fact this was the quietest power supply we reviewed to date.
Ce pot sa zic? Sunt efectiv impresionat. 90% eficienta, dead silent si mai duce si "overclock" de 114% (600W) cu 85% eficienta la 50°C.
Parerea mea e ca cine cauta o sursa de calitate si mai are ceva banuti in plus de la un Corsair echivalent sa aleaga noile serii Enermax fara sa stea pe ginduri.
Efectiv sunt surse mind-blowing.
 
Probabil o simpla coincidenta daca multe surse 80+ par sa aiba "greierashi" chiar si in configuratii normale. Ma intreb daca asta e o exceptie...

Speechless.

We were really impressed by this power supply. It not only could deliver its labeled power at 50º C, but we could pull up to 868 W also at 50º C!

Efficiency was one of the highlights of this product during our tests.
Even when we overloaded it efficiency was still above 80%.

Even though noise and ripple weren’t the lowest we’ve seen around they were at levels below the average, which is excellent.

It is a very quiet power supply if you run it below its maximum capacity.

Da' scumpa cu draci la noi. Mai pui 80 lei si iei un Corsair HX1000.
 
Vi se par OK voltajele astea?
Asta obtin cu noua sursa Corsair vx450w in sistemul meu (pe care cred ca-l stiti).

Avand in vedere drop-ul evident de pe 5 volti as spune ca citirea e corecta, asa facea si batranul meu TT cand alimenta SocketA; cand mi-am facut upgrade la un sistem mult mai energofag dar care tragea tare din 12 volti totul s-a stabilizat la valori incomparabil bune. :smile:

P.S. Pe sistemul ala un Delux de 500W are voltaje mai bune. Nu glumesc. :wink:
 
Are ceva daca le las asa? Vreo sansa sa se arda / strice / afecteze stabilitatea?
Well, la mine a mers mai bine de un an in conditii asemanatoare iar sursa merge si acum, dupa mai bine de 4 ani...

Multimetrul e sfant dar daca nu poti face usor rost de el da-o incolo de masurare si vezi-ti de butonat, nu are ce sa se intample. Cred. Sper. :biggrin:
 
Load-ul a fost asta iar sursa a fost asta.
puterfixer iti las tie placerea sa vezi cum se comporta in hot-box Corsair VX450 cu load de 14A @3.3V, 15A @5.5V, 27A @12V.
Sau ca sa fie si mai palpitant sa vezi cum sursa poate sa functioneze in voia cea buna la un load de 572W. :biggrin:
